Halloween Chili

From Food Network magazine. The pumpkin is not terribly obvious.

1 onion
1 chopped bell pepper (I used a canned roasted red pepper)
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 15-oz can pumpkin
1 15-oz can fire-roasted tomatoes
1 15-oz can black beans, drained
2 c water
2 Tbsp chili powder
2 Tbsp adobo sauce (from can of chilis)

Brown onion, pepper, and beef.
Add everything else.
Simmer 30 minutes.
